Youth Group

KTTY (Kol Tikvah Temple Youth) is our congregation's Junior (grades 7 & 8) and Senior (grades 9-12) youth group. A member of the National Association of Temple Youth, KTTY is a fun, rewarding and very important Jewish experience for teens at Kol Tikvah.

Our Junior youth group participates in monthly Programs planned by our professional staff. A Junior KTTY event might be a Saturday night Havdallah Service, a NFTY regional Dance with other NFTY Temples in the area, or just about anything else that would provide an opportunity for our Jewish youth to come together socially to celebrate the joy of being a Jewish teen.

KTTY Senior Youth Group is a youth led and adult supervised organization. Here the KTTY members plan and organize the programs and activities. It is an important opportunity for our youth to develop the leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills they will need as Jewish adults and professionals. Senior KTTY events and programs attempt to blend and focus on the following areas of interest: (1) Social (2) Religious (3) Community Service (4) Athletics (5) Cultural (6) Social Action. Senior KTTY members are also full-fledged members of NFTY and take part in regional and national programs and events.
