Ana grew up in New York, after graduating from New York College she moved to Los Angeles with her family where she began working in the field of Management and Administration. Eventually she decided to follow her passion for children and education. Her hope as an educator is to instill a love of exploring, discovery and learning in children. She also strongly believes early childhood is a great time to expose children to Jewish education and give them clear sense of their history and Jewish identity.
Ana believes that children are unique individuals who need a safe environment that is conducive for learning and allows for personal development to take place.
Ana has her certificate in Child Development and has worked as an educator in various programs. She has been involved in different aspects of education, in addition to teaching preschool and religious school; she has successfully coached and coordinated multiple afterschool enrichment programs and parenting classes at Kol Tikvah and other programs. She regularly attends workshops and classes keeping up with best practices in early childhood education.
Ana has been a member of the Kol Tikvah staff for over 10 years. Presently, Ana is continuing her education in Human Development. Ana and her husband have two children.
