CHAVURAH
Chavurah is a special feature of
Temple Kol Tikvah to further engage our members in a sense of family.
Chavurah
Program
The Kol Tikvah Chavurah program is
expanding, with new groups forming after the High Holidays. Chavurah
means a 'group of friends'. Whatever you are looking for, we are here
to help you find individuals, couples or families to join with and to
create a Chavurah. Whether you are a young family, single,
newlyweds or a senior, let us help you find a Chavurah that meets your
needs.
Once your Chavurah is formed, you will determine the specifics: how
often to meet, what type of events the group will participate in,
etc. The Chavurah Committee can assist with the first steps to
creating a Chavurah, offer suggestions and mentor your group through the
early stages of development. Our current Chavurot participate in
activities that support the growth and continued well-being of the
synagogue such as the Purim Carnival, Sabbath Lights membership dinners and
mitzvah programs. They also create friendships that last a
lifetime. We look forward to welcoming you to a Chavurah.
