PHILOSOPHY

Kol Tikvah Early Childhood Center is guided by an awareness that children are individuals to be respected and appreciated for their uniqueness.

We offer a nurturing, safe and stimulating environment with clear limits, and a hands-on curriculum that fosters curiosity.  We create opportunities that will encourage children to explore, examine, discover and question as they learn about their world.

We welcome and appreciate the participation of all families as a reflection of Kol Tikvah’s inclusive, non-discriminatory philosophy. We provide an environment that teaches children the traditions, rituals and values of Reform Judaism.

PROGRAM

Kol Tikvah Early Childhood Center’s curriculum is rich and challenging. Jewish culture and history are incorporated into the program and celebrated in the classroom, bringing joy and knowledge into our children’s lives. Our daily activities include learning through individual discovery and group interaction, indoor and outdoor play and multisensory experiences as a foundation for growth and development. Our program is enriched with dramatic and imaginary play, music, art, books and stories, puzzles, manipulatives, movement and science to stimulate creativity and self-expression.

Our commitment is to empower each child to develop a life long love of learning and to feel great about the amazing person they are as well as share our love for Jewish tradition and education.
