Renaissance Senior Potluck Shabbat Dinner

May 18 @ 5:00 pm - 6:30 pm

Members can celebrate Shavuot with their Kol Tikvah friends at a Potluck Shabbat dinner for Renaissance Senior Group. After dinner, we will join the community for services at 6:30 pm.  Dessert will follow Shabbat services. Enjoy a warm, friendly evening at Kol Tikvah with Rabbi Becky Hoffman, Cantor Noa Shaashua, & Rabbinic Intern Elana Nemitoff. Adult Education: The Book of First Kings – Class 5 of 5

We began with the final days of King David & continue with the stories of his favorite son, Solomon.  You did not have to attend the previous classes to enjoy this fascinating last class dedicated to learning about Solomon, Jezebel, King Ahab & the Prophet Elijah. Adult Education: Learner’s Shabbat Minyan with Potluck Lunch – Class 5 of 5

We will meet with the goal of eventually leading your own Shabbat morning service. Throughout the experience, we will discuss liturgy, explore different tunes, & develop our own service leading skills.
