Adult Education – The Book of Second Samuel 5 of 5 Classes
April 1 @ 9:00 am - 10:00 am
Last year, Rabbi Jon Hanish taught us about the rise and fall of King Saul and the rise of King David as we studied the book of First Samuel. This year, we will focus on the story of David as described in Second Samuel. If there is one king who left an impression on Judaism, it would be the charming, intelligent, warrior-king David. We will delve into his life, looking at the ghosts that haunted him, the women he loved, and the family that tried to undermine his kingdom. Bagels and coffee will, of course, be provided. All classes are held from 9:00 am – 10:00 am on Saturdays.
