Adult Education: “An Attitude of Gratitude in Our Prayer” – Class 2 of 3

What is the meaning of gratitude in Judaism? How do these prayers of gratitude impact our holidays, Sabbaths, and our daily lives? This class will explore the different types of prayers, while emphasizing the special prayers that express gratitude. Learn about the meaning and power of these prayers as they are transmuted into song, along with the melodies that match the attitude of gratitude that hallmark Judaism in general and prayer in particular. We will use storytelling, guided imagery, prayers, melodies and much more. This 3-class series is held from 7:00 pm – 8:30 pm and is taught by Cantor Noa Shaashua.
