Early Childhood Center & Preschool

Kol Tikvah Preschool at a Glance:

Our goal is to prepare children with essential life skills to be successful in school and in life.

Kol Tikvah Early Childhood Center offers a warm and welcoming community to children 18 months through 5 years old.

We embrace a child’s natural way of learning, and provide an environment that nurtures intellectual, emotional, and social development.

The children’s Jewish experiences are based upon the joys of celebration and community.

Our goal is to promote self-esteem and problem-solving abilities, which help children gain the confidence to face new experiences.  We believe that children are competent learners, capable of engaging with ideas and the world around them.

Education should focus on each child in relation to a community of others, rather than each child in isolation.

About our program:

We emphasize developmentally appropriate opportunities for the whole child, including building friendships, respect for others, conflict resolution, and developing for one’s needs and ideas.  We are inspired by the Reggio Emilia approach to teaching and learning; children collaborate with teachers to create daily and long term projects, and expand their academic and social potentials.  We use the Indoor and Outdoor Classroom Environment as essential learning tools for many process-based and emergent learning opportunities.

School is open from 7:30 am until 6:00 pm with a flexible schedule.  Please contact the ECC office for tuition rates and to schedule a tour.
