Be familiar with the prayers for Shabbat, Chanuka, and Pesach. Learn about sharing. Learn about the importance of having rules.

- In this year we begin to explore God concepts: Understanding God by understanding God's creations; The Jewish concept of one God; What it means to be created in God's image; Some of the ideas behind God's B'rit or 'deal' with the Jewish people; A first look at Shabbat; The how when and why of talking with God; and being God's partner in perfection God's world.
- During this year, we will learn some Israeli songs; explore the concept of Israel being our "2nd Home"; Celebrate Israel's birthday; Become familiar with the Israeli Flag; Understand what the Kotel is, and what it isn't; A first look at Israel's geography; A first look at Kibbutzim;
