God - Midot / Holocaust
Students in the 6th grade year will have the opportunity to more fully explore their God concepts through their study of Honoring our covenant with God; Enriching our lives with mitzvot; and exploration of rabbinic texts about mitzvot and midot
Students will read The Diary of Anne Frank; We will discuss how the Holocaust could happen; Students will have to opportunity to look at other 'Holocausts' in our world; and ask the questions "Where was God?" when all of this was going on.
